The project is providing crucial support to children affected by conflict, offering them a chance to resume their education in a safe environment.
Children in Tawila locality, Darfur, are getting back to learning thanks to a project implemented by Depth Action Organization (DAO) in partnership with UNICEF Sudan and the Ministry of Education.
Activities include:
- Awareness sessions to promote education
- Enrollment campaigns to get children back in school
- Trainings for teachers on MHPSS, ALP and EiE
Targeting displaced children from El Fasher in gathering sites, we are working to ensure every child has access to quality education.
We are establishing 25 new ALP centres to accommodate more children, distributing education and recreational supplies, and promoting indoor and outdoor activities.
